The ECM 42 is manufactured by Kählig Antriebstechnik GmbH. It is a brush-less DC electric motor which ranges from 4 Ncm to 13 Ncm and 14.6 W to 42.2 W. The features include a 4-pole rotor with resin bonded NeFeB-magnets and 3-phase winding in delta-connection. For rotor position detection, it is provided with 3 inside hall sensors.
